Negotiating Salary – Harvard University

Latinas make only $0.57 for every dollar a non-Hispanic white man makes, according to CNBC. That comes out to a loss of a whopping $1.1 million dollars over the course of a career. Knowing how to negotiate your salary and ask for what you deserve is one of the steps to making Latina pay equity a reality. Harvard University offers numerous free classes, including Negotiating Salary, a 15-minute lesson taught via Harvard Business School Online.

Ascent for Women –  U.S. Small Business Administration

The Small Business Administration has created a free learning platform for women entrepreneurs, filled with resources that will help you take your business to the next level as a jefa. Ascent’s topics are referred to as Journeys; each Journey has several Excursions that will lead to the peak of knowledge for that topic.
