Alejandra Espinoza is one the most recognizable on-air personalities in the Hispanic market. She is the main host for Simon Cowell’s hit singing competition La Banda, which will premiere its second season this September on Univision. Espinoza also hosted Premios Juventud this summer 2016, one of the most recognized award shows in the Hispanic market. She recently became the newest face of Revlon Cosmetics, making her a Brand Ambassador worldwide alongside Halle Berry and Olivia Wilde.

Born in Tijuana, Mexico, Alejandra comes from a humble background starting her career as a McDonald’s employee. However, her participation in the beauty competition, “Nuestra Belleza Mexico 2006,” took her career to new heights. Although she finished as fourth runner-up, the experience introduced her to the world of television. In 2007, Alejandra was crowned the winner of “Nuestra Belleza Latina,” one of the most influential Hispanic reality shows in the United States. Thanks to that prestigious crown, Alejandra’s recognition grew rapidly becoming an example among the Hispanic community in the United States.

After “Nuestra Belleza Latina”, Espinoza became the host of the show. She was later appointed as a guest co-host for the top entertainment news show in Hispanic TV, “El Gordo y la Flaca” and served as guest co-host for the world’s longest-running variety TV series, “Sabado Gigante.” Additionally, she has hosted the red carpet specials for “Premios Juventud” and “Premios Oye,” as well as the popular “LatinGRAMMY Awards.” Alejandra has also been a part of exclusive events such as the “Rumbo a Premio lo Nuestro,” “Feliz 2016,” “Premios TV y Novelas,” “Bodas de Telenovela,” “Nuestra Belleza Latina al Descubierto,” “Acceso total 2013,” and “La Diva Vive,” a special tribute to Jenni Rivera that broke viewing records.

Alejandra is also the spokesperson for brands recognized worldwide. Aside from her most recent deal as the face for Revlon, she is also the spokesperson for Cablevision, one of the largest television providers in the United States. Additionally, as the spokesperson for Lincoln Motor Co she promoted the “This is My Luxury” campaign.
