Lola is the founder and creator of Lola’s Cocina, a food and travel blog dedicated to sharing her cherished family recipes and Mexico’s rich culinary traditions. She teaches themed cooking classes and recently launched Lola's Mercadito, an online shop that showcases a collection of her gourmet food products and unique items for the home and cocina – all made in or inspired by Mexico. Here you can find the perfect hostess gift, baby gift, or something for your food-loving friends. Lola dedicates a portion of product proceeds to the advancement of young women in education, business, and leadership.

Lola’s work in the food world and as a Latina leader and mother has been highlighted in interviews and publications including Super Mamás Podcast, Bilingual Avenue, and Parents Latina. Lola was also named one of Red Tricycle’s Power Moms of the Food World and Dieste’s Everyday Latinas Making a Difference. Most recently, she was recognized as one of Mitú’s 14 Latino-Owned Businesses Disrupting the Food Industry. Lola is a California native with a dual master’s degree in business administration and in Latin American studies and currently lives in Highlands Ranch, CO with her husband Michael and their bilingual bebés Amado and Valentina.
