For the next few weeks, we’ll be introducing you to our #WeAllGrow Summit Top 35. ¿Qué es eso? It’s a special group of blogueras that believed so much in #WeAllGrow Summit, that they jumped on the opportunity to grab a very specially discounted ticket within hours of our announcement. Because of their commitment and passion, we celebrate them now in a series of small, yet passion-filled, interviews. Check them all out here. Betty is a mother, freelance writer and blogger at My Friend Betty Says. There she shares book review, style and beauty posts plus much more. Get to know Betty a little more here.
1)What does the word "Grow" mean to you in your blogging career?
When it comes to my blog, My Friend Betty Says, I believe it has "grown" when other mothers tell me they have become inspired by the simple fact that I have chosen to do something out of passion. Fashion, beauty and even my book selections and suggestions inspire busy women to carve a little time out of their family's lives for themselves! I believe I "grow" when I make connections with my readers!
2)What excites you about growth?
New opportunities come with growth and I welcome it because it is challenging! I'm always up for something that will test and improve my character.
3)How can one community grow together?
Communities are built on support, trust and sharing of ideas. Any type of community can grow together if all individuals want to see and make success happen.
4)How do you proactively help others grow?
My first career was teaching and I knew that even if I could not be in a classroom, I wanted to continue to help others...so I started my first blog. I now help other bloggers any way I can! I love to share what works for me as a mother and writer because I understand that if Latina bloggers help each other out, we can achieve so much more as a whole and united group.
5)What do you hope to get out of #WeAllGrow Summit?
I can't wait to attend #WeAllGrow Summit to meet bloggers I have followed and truly admire. I want to learn from everyone and share what has helped me grow as well.
