October is now a sea of pink and for a great reason, it´s National Breast Cancer Awareness month. And in honor of this, Hanes®, the No. 1 brand of apparel essentials, has launched a Facebook application, or Pink tab, to send free virtual Comfort Packages to friends and family. The best part? For each package sent, Hanes will donate $1 to the National Breast Cancer Foundation to promote early cancer detection and provide mammograms for those in need.
Hanes created the Comfort Packages to bring a smile and help spread comfort to fans' social networks in a small, but impactful, way. The free virtual Comfort Package can be sent from the Pink tab on the Hanes page. The Comfort Package is fully customizable with photos, videos, recipes, T-shirt designs, music and messages. Sending a Comfort Package is one of many gestures that can brighten someone's day and help provide support and comfort to a loved one.
Latina Bloggers Connect is supporting this initiative by spreading the word and encouraging you to share this information with your readers.
As mentioned above, Hanes is donating $1 for each Comfort Package sent to NBCF, so if you are able to direct 100 readers to send a Comfort Package, that's $100 donated. Let´s do it!
To motivate you even more, we will hold a random drawing of three $50 Hanes products within all those bloggers that submit a link to a 250-word minimun post, in either English, Spanish or Spanglish, about the Hanes Comfort Packages in support of the National Breast Cancer Foundation.
For more info and images about the Comfort Packages, check out the full press release here.
To let us know you published a post and be entered into the random drawing, please drop your link HERE by midnight Sunday, October 16th and share a tweet using the hashtag #hanescomfortpackages
