How excited are we that The LINE Hotel, by the Sydell Group, is our host hotel? MUCHO. Not only because it's the #3 best new hotel in the world according to Condé Nast Traveler, but also because their whole concept is built around growth based on collaborations. Sounds familiar? Yes, definitely something we truly believe in as the basis of inner and outer growth.
The LINE Hotel in Los Angeles' bustling and multicultural neighborhood of Koreatown, opened its doors earlier this year and has already become an it spot. Throughout the next few months we'll tell you a lot more about our casita for three days in February, but for now enjoy this visual tour and let us know what you think!
The mid-century building in the heart of Koreatown was originally designed in 1964 and was re conceptualized, restored and redesigned by local Venice Beach designer Sean Knibb. All rooms have a floor-to-ceiling window with either a view of the Hollywood Hills or towards Wilshire Blvd. It was designed so that when all of the drapes are closed, you can visualize the colors of a Los Angeles sunset. Love.
The LINE sits on a busy Wilshire Blvd right across the street from the Normandie Metro. Super easy access to any of the restaurants, bar, bakeries and karaokes that make Koreatown such a hot spot.
The lobby is intimate and welcoming.
The rooms! This is a king room with a Hollywood Hills view. Need we say more?
Definitely a room with a view. Those white spots on the hills? The Hollywood sign and the Griffith Park Observatory; two icons of L.A. life and you won't even need to leave your room to see them.
Each room is full of so many exquisite details and the main view is always outside.
One of the fabulous suites. The ACME Gallery in Koreatown shot eleven original photos which are displayed in the guest rooms. Live art, be art.
Could this be my living room, por favor?
Ah, the pool! We're working up some cool things to do poolside in February. You hear us, you Midwest and East Coast amigas? ¡Vengan!
Celebrity Chef and Koreatown-native Roy Choi runs the food and beverage department (yes, our food will be from his kitchen!), and the restaurants POT and Commissary (above) are already all the rave amongst foodies.
The Gramercy Terrace is just a few of the many unique and intimate spaces we'll have available to do what we do best: connect.
