Miriam Isa- known to many as a hilarious YouTube personality and social commentator- is the newest member of E! Network’s news team. Born in Miami to Cuban-Lebanese parents, Miriam studied acting at New World School of the Arts High School and received her BA in Theatre at Florida State University. Her acting has been featured in numerous TV shows, films, and theatrical plays while her voice has narrated dozens of radio and television commercials. However, it is Miriam’s insatiable curiosity that has fueled her passion for journalism. She co-launched YouTube’s #1 Spanish language entertainment news channel, Clevver Teve, taking it from 0 to 7 million views per week. Miriam has hosted on every series across Clevver Media in both English and Spanish and has produced some of the most viral episodes of Throwback, Dirty Laundry and Chismelicioso. Miriam has also covered come of sport’s biggest events on Al-Jazeera’s BeIn Sport Network and ESPN Deportes.
Miriam also has her very own yoga series, La Roja, in syndication on the INTI Network in Latin America. Most recently she covered the 2017 Super Bowl in Houston for E! News where she discussed feminism with Tom Brady, baby-making playlists with John Legend, and the funny aftertaste of crickets with Mark Cuban. During her free time Miriam is a passionate activist for human rights. She is co-founder of ‘Angelenos for Tomorrow’ an organization that advocates for civil rights and youth vote. Miriam… also likes to eat. She regularly expands her culinary palette with globe-trotting- from Alaska to Machu-Picchu to some of the most remote corners of South East Asia.
