Elena Chávez

Elena has been with Consumer Reports for the last 18 years, currently leading Consumer Reports’ Latino Audience Strategy – an effort to reach, engage and connect with Latinos by offering content through various distribution channels: social media, earned media, monthly e-newsletter, content partnerships and participating in community events.

Elena is also the organizaation’s spokesperson for Spanish-language media.As a member of Consumer Reports’ Diversity and Inclusion Initiative, Elena was the first Chair of Latinovation, the organization’s Latino Employee Resource Group. Elena has over 30 years of experience in program development, organizing and as a public interest advocate.
