An award-winning bilingual journalist and on-air TV personality featured on The Chew, Good Morning America, The Steve Harvey Show, Despierta América, Un Nuevo Día, and other shows, Jeannette Kaplun is known as a lifestyle expert, internationally-recognized parenting writer and in-demand public speaker.
Born in El Paso, Texas, and raised in Chile, in 2012 Jeannette launched her bilingual lifestyle blog Hispana Global, where she shares tips about travel, parenting, beauty, technology, social good and more.
In 2014, mom.me recognized her as one of the top 50 mom bloggers. She received the 2015 Spirit of Excellence Award and was named one of the top 100 women leaders by Chile’s prestigious El Mercurio newspaper. Previously, Jeannette won LATISM’s best parenting blogger award. She's been invited to the White House several times and was part of the first White House Summit on the United State of Women.
Jeannette is the author of "Todobebé: Todo lo que necesitas saber para el primer año de tu bebé" and writes for Babble, Ser Padres, the Today show’s Parenting Team, latinamom.me and other outlets. She also serves on the National Advisory Board for the Foundation for Advancing Alcohol Responsibility. Previously, she co-founded Todobebe and served as its Chief Content Officer for 13 years.
She lives in Miami with her husband, son and daughter.
