Agatha Achindu is a dedicated mother, entrepreneur and chef. As a child growing up in Cameroon, Agatha ate only the freshest organic foods from her family’s gardens and local markets. Following her son’s birth in 2004, she struggled to find equally delicious and nutritious meals for her young son, Jared-Zane. Determined, Agatha took to her kitchen to create meals packed with healthy organic ingredients—and nothing else. She soon began filling casual orders for friends and—in 2006—Yummy Spoonfuls™ was born. Her baby food products soon gained a loyal mom following at Whole Foods, Amazon, and Dean & DeLuca. In 2014, Agatha partnered with fellow mom and entrepreneur Camila Alves to expand Yummy Spoonfuls® and their collective vision of providing fresh organic foods to babies and tots. Today, Agatha is a sought-after baby food expert who has appeared on CNN, Fox Business News, Essence.com, CBS, Style Network, People.com and more. She also serves as the founder and chief recipe wizard for Yummy Spoonfuls® and fills her time outside of the kitchen conducting media engagements and healthy eating workshops across the country.
