An award-winning bilingual journalist and TV personality featured on The Chew, Good Morning America, and Despierta América, Jeannette Kaplun is the founder and CEO of Hispana Global, a bilingual blog for Latinas, where she shares tips about travel, parenting, beauty, fashion, food, technology, social good and more.
Jeannette has also partnered with Procter & Gamble and its Tide® brand as ambassador for the Safety program #ArribaCerradosSeguros, to raise awareness on laundry room safety and help parents avoid injuries related to children and laundry packets.
Born in El Paso, Texas, and raised in Chile, Jeannette has lived in Miami with her husband, son and daughter for the past 18 years. During this time, she’s been recognized by mom.me and LATISM for her work as a blogger and was recently named one of the top 100 women leaders by “El Mercurio” newspaper in Chile. Her expertise has resulted in multiple invitations to the White House, including her participation in June 2016 in the first White House Summit on the United State of Women.
Jeannette is the author of Todobebé: Todo lo que necesitas saber para el primer año de tu bebé (Rayo, 2006), and writes for Babble, Ser Padres magazine, the Today show’s Parenting Team, and other outlets. In 1999, she co-founded Todobebé and served as its Chief Content Officer. Her credits also include co-hosting two Emmy-nominated parenting TV shows, Univision’s “Viva la Familia” and Telemundo’s “Todobebe.” Her work extends to the non-profit world, including work with Shot@Life, ONE, the UN Foundation, Save the Children and St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. She currently is a 2016 UN Champion for Humanity and Save the Children fellow.
