Luz María Doria

Luz Maria Doria is the Vice President and Executive Producer of Univision’s “Despierta America," the fastest-growing morning show on broadcast television.

Prior to joining “Despierta America” in 2012, she held other key positions at the TeleFutura Network, including Director of Entertainment, overseeing productions and specials, such as “Escandalo TV” and “La Tijera.”

Doria began her career in journalism in 1986 and her extensive experience led her to work on some of the most notable magazines and television programs in the industry, focused primarily on her passion of entertainment.

Previously, she spent a decade working for one of the largest publishing houses in the world, Editorial Televisa, where she was Editor-in-Chief of the magazine, Cristina, La Revista and worked for top magazines such as Cosmopolitan en Espanol and TV y Novelas.

Doria is a graduate of Barry University.
